Like a walk in a garden

Living in the city,
I remember it comes with a lot of concrete, and stimulus.
These days I just visit the city life,
but when given the chance to walk through
an amazingly large, cool, quiet, serene
'garden'...

I always say yes.

a perfect way to end the day,
before heading home for pizza night!

Sure, I'll check it out...

One of the rules I try to live by is:

Never be afraid to get lost, or
take the wrong turn, because
you Never know who you may meet,
or what you may see.

Post Alley.

sure. I'm game.

ok,...
so a brewery,
from the back.

the Hugest Gum Wall
Ever!

Seriously, how, when did it all start?
Just one little piece has led to
literally a Wall
of thousands, and thousands of participants.
All contributing to what has become
an oddly beautiful scene.

and a sea of crying babies

Oh!...
Did you mean that Post Alley?

I don't know,...
somehow I feel like I got the cooler version
of Post Alley.

1907-What were You doing?

Well the citizens of Seattle
were venturing into
for the first time!

It is not the first time I have visited,
and in my 10 year absence,
it has retained all of the
fun, charm, and beauty that I remember.

home of the first Starbuck's too...

so much more to see and experience,
definitely worth the visit.

Looking for a diner

~ Steelhead Diner ~

After enjoying a sunset over the ocean,
we went looking for a nice easy dinner.
yeah, a diner of some sort...

What a treat we stumbled on
we sat at the 'Chef's Counter'

which meant
special and unique appetizers,
fantastic food
and friendly conversation with one of the Chef's

A great place if you are visiting

A stop along the way to Seattle

Along the way to Seattle,
we stopped in Spokane for some lunch
fresh air and a walk.

We stopped here.

It was pure pleasure,
one of those places I could have spent
hours and dollars,
treating myself and everyone I know
to something as unique and
and special as they are.

With lunch as our goal
we were very happy with the choice.
The cafe' served a wonderful sandwich
and the bakery, a divine
orange/dark chocolate scone.

Thanks, Atticus
I will be back.

Never let up

~never let up~

continuous, snow, continuous,
miles, continuous, layers
continuous, beauty, continuously,
