the snow was so fresh, the sun warm and bright, 

the trees heavy with snow. a great day to walk through the mountains.

Winter White

Today was the softest, lightest snowfall all day.  Each flake was big, fluffy, and beautiful.

The trees are so quiet in a snowfall, one of my favorite times for snowshoeing.
